For a change this weekend I took myself and the camera kit off to try and take some images of deer in the snow. Snow is a rarity in England - or it was before global warming, go figure - so this was going to be my best chance before the next ice age. Having found some deer and got close enough it was just a case of waiting, for hours, watching my breath freeze in the viewfinder. Before I completely lost the use of my fingers, or the batteries died, the deer obliged. I hope you think it was worth it. I do.
