Fallow buck

This mature Fallow buck is strutting around his harem . His lean belly, enlarged 'adams apple' and penile tassle show he has already been rutting. It won't be long before the bucks fat reserves are burnt off and exhaustion sets in. It is when he is 'spent' that a fitter male challenges for possession of the harem.
