Mad march hare

Portrait of a European brown hare, Lepus capensis, proving that March hares are truly mad. Well this one acted as though he were when he came upon me lying in the track behind a camera. Actually he came that close I couldn't focus on him anymore. Hares rely on their hearing and scenting ability much more than their eyesight.
