Photographs of Roe deer.
Old Roe doe
Very old Roe doe in mid June. Her vestigial antlers, barely visible, are due to a hormonal imbalance caused by her age. Initially I thought this deer was a young buck, until it turned away and I saw its rump. Interestingly this old doe gave birth to a single kid later that week.
