Cinnabar caterpillars

Caterpillars of the Cinnabar moth feeding off the Ragwort plant. This shot was a stroke of luck. I was crawling through the grass and literally bumped into this plant. The colours were so striking I drove home and came back with the camera, just as the sun was setting, which really enhanced the yellow and orange tints.
