Sika calf

Luckily I spotted this calf before I got too close. My camera was already on the tripod, so very, very slowly I lowered it off my shoulder and took two shots. I backed off equally slowly, leaving the fearless little Sika calf couched in its bed of bracken. Only then I saw its Mum watching from the side. I'm glad I didn't disturb them.
